Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global advancements into Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. His debut album ADN was issued by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina in the following year. He appeared later in 2021 in a duet with TINI on her streaming smash single Maldita Foto. He appeared in 2023 with 2000, featuring the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo is a musician who was born in a musical home. His parents and brothers were also musicians. According to him, music was a fundamental aspect of his daily life. In his early years, he learned to play the saxophone and as well as piano and ukulele. His initial choice of career was to be a veterinarian however, his brother Julian convinced him to study singing with a Cuban teacher. What happened was that he discovered his own talent for singing and altered the direction of his life.
