Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican musician who was born into a musical family. As a child, she was exposed to a lot of traditional music as well as old Boleros. She also listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is enthusiastic about singing tangos as well as operas. In addition, she is a fan of dramatic performances. Her mother taught her how to sing. She began intensifying her vocal instruction by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when his name was known as a famous Mexican opera Tenor. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards with the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young college student as well as a professional. After 2000, she moved into the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she relocated to her home in southern California. She performs current classical Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. She's involved in numerous local projects, both as an instructor and performer due to her passion for music and arts. Ana was also a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher of The Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for having the chance to share her passion and love for traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire to, particularly in the younger age group in order to keep this vibrant music alive.Viva Mexico!
